My Stress Reliever

Crochet Baby Blanket
I was 12 years old when I first held a crochet hook, trying to learn the foundation chain. Somehow, my crochet teacher disappeared and I was stuck with only knowing how to crochet foundation chains. (Sigh) Thereafter, I got distracted by other things and stopped crocheting altogether. As luck would have it, I re-discovered the art of crochet earlier this year and I’ve been crocheting ever since! For me, crochet is a very therapeutic craft, so here is one of my creations – Pinky Punch Baby Blanket for baby Renée, my cousin’s new born in Singapore.

Pinky Punch Baby Blanket
This baby blanket was crocheted with two colors to form a giant granny square. For this blanket, I used the double-ended crochet hook (3.0/4.0) which I’ve purchased from the local yarn store. Not much to my liking, so I’ve stopped crocheting with these double ended steel hooks nowadays. I’ve found my favorite crochet hooks, so maybe I’ll post them up some other day!!!
Alas, the blanket looks so much better with baby Renée sleeping under it. I should have taken a picture of baby Renée and Pinky Punch but forgot all about it during my trip to the Little Red Dot. Well, there’s always next time. Have a great week y’all!!!
